Bombers Prevail in Steamy Springfield 7's |

In 100 degree heat the Bombers and Hornets travelled to Springfield to participate in their 7’s tournament. Having arrived at 9 am for the captains meeting and the beginning of the games at 10 am, our first match was the last one at 12:20. Plenty of time to warm-up. |

Annual Bomber Golf Classic Update |

Preparations for the Annual Bomber Golf Classic are well under way with the date set for August 8, 2009, at Paradise Valley. More details will follow, but it is never too early to start pulling together that ringer-laced foursome that will carry you to the top of the pack. With just more than a month to go to the big event, all players should begin liberally using ointments, creams, lubes and smelling salts to be in prime shape on the 8th. Bombers Awards Picnic Set |
The Bombers annual awards picnic has been set for July 18 at Larson Park (click here for a map ) starting at high Noon with awards presented at 5 PM. The club will provide fried chicken and beer, but please bring a side dish to share. Larson Park has a large shaded pavilion with rest rooms, children's playground, fire pit (Bowling Ball!!) and bbq pits for grilling if desired. We also have reserved the adjacent baseball field for possible softball game, frisbee, croquet, jarts, bochee ball or other summer games. Bring the family and join your friends for a great day celebrating another year of Bombers rugby. |
