After traveling up to Minneapolis to take on Metropolis the Bombers were hungry for redemption from the first meeting of the two teams.
The Bombers looked to be the better team, leading in the second half but would suffer multiple penalties to which Metropolis quickly capitalized. Despite best efforts the Bombers would fall to Metropolis 41-23, making it the third loss for St. Louis.
The Bombers have been on a two week break and are in the home stretch with only two matches left in the season. This weekend the team travels to Milwaukee to take on the Barbarians who are 0-7 on the season.
The last match and home match for the season will be the following weekend, November 17th at Lucier Park. The Bombers will be hosting Palmer in what will be a very hard fought match.
With two big wins the Bombers could solidify their placement finishing 2nd in their inaugural Midwest D1 season.
Practice for the remaining of the season has been moved back to Willmore Park, located at the corner of Jamieson and Hampton. A map is available on the practice page.
More exciting news for the Bombers as the Club makes a bid to secure land to build a premier rugby home. There will be more info to come out with an open house and fundraising campaign but a wheel have been set in motion.
