Bombers suffered their first loss of the season facing Metropolis a few in their last outing. In the heat of St. Louis’ third summer of the year the boys in black struggled to execute their defensive structure from the get go and Metropolis showed why they are considered one of the top clubs in the country. There were flashes of great offensive and defensive moments but they were just as quickly lost to Metropolis who looked as formidable as ever. The Bombers headed back to training for 2 weeks to sort out the kinks and re-focus on their fundamentals. Confident the big loss was more fluke than fact, the boys prepared for Milwaukee traveling down for their first trip to St. Louis.
