The St. Louis Jets
The Saint Louis Jets are the St. Louis Bombers’ youth development program. The program aims to develop St. Louis’ top youth talent and prepare them to become successful rugby players and future Bombers.
Head Coach
Lucas Black is a level 1 RFU coach. He grew up in Crawley, England before moving to Saint Louis to study Exercise Science at Lindenwood University Belleville before transferring to Lindenwood Saint Charles. He won D1aa National 7’s in his Freshman Year. After completing his studies he moved to Houston to play in the SaberCats Academy.
He played with the Bombers throughout the summers during college. After leaving Houston he moved backed to continue his tenure with the Bombers.
He helped Coach at SLUH varsity program to a State Championship in 2023. Before starting the Jets Program to compete in Summer 7’s. Winning and placing in a variety of tournament through the summer.
